Question: How Do I Make My Brand Stand Out?

I think one of the biggest mistakes that entrepreneurs and new business owners make when trying to create a brand is replicating someone else’s.

They see successful businesses and instead of focusing on developing a unique brand of their own, they do their best to emulate what they believe is already working for others.

If you truly want to develop a brand that provides you with the opportunity to position yourself as an influential figure in your market, you need to stand out from the crowd by creating a brand that is fresh and unique.

In other words, it needs to be different from what everyone else is doing.

You’ll also need to create hype around you and your brand, to invoke curiosity from those that hear about you, and develop a reputation as an authority in your market. You can’t do this if your brand looks and sounds like everyone else’s.

You need people to associate your name and brand with a specific skill or topic. In fact, this is the very first task you must complete when attempting to build your own stand out brand.

From my years of experience, if you want to make it big, you need to be different to be remembered.

There’s no getting around it.
